Attention Residents
Starting this month the Borough will pick up ashes every Monday and Friday. Ashes out on any other day will not be collected.

Ashes must be in ash tins or 5 gallon buckets. Trash cans are not acceptable containers.

The planters on Main Street and Second Street are once again done. Thank you, Girardville PRIDE. They look beautiful. Lets keep them that way.

It is still high weeds and grass weather. People are reminded of the need to keep your yards and other areas cut or face fines. We should each see what we can do to make our community look good!

County-wide recycling
The Borough is once again participating in the recycling program. You can drop electronics, tires, appliances and bulky items behind the A Street school building.
September 25th - 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
September 26th - 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
September 27th - 9:oo am to 1:oo pm

There are charges for certain items. You must have proof of County Residency.

Well, we survived another St. Patrick's Day Parade.  A good time was had by all.  Can you believe it has been 10 years?  We bid a fond and sad adieu to John "Mouche" McNelis as parade chairman.  All we can say is great job Mouche!
